Gloria Fluxà Vice-Chairman & CSO Gloria drives sustainability as a key business lever at Iberostar. With a multidisciplinary team, she leads the strategy and execution of its own Agenda 2030 with an approach based on science, ethics and good governance.
Megan Morikawa Global Director of Sustainability Megan Morikawa is the Global Sustainability Office Director at Iberostar Group where she leads the work that is being done under the company’s Wave of Change movement.
Gabriel Martorell Regional Director of Sustainability AME Gabriel works to ensure the global strategy generated by the Sustainability Office fits the challenges and unique opportunities of the Americas. He serves as the sustainability point of contact for Iberostar in the Americas.
Sandra Benbeniste Regional Director of Sustainability EMEA Sandra works to ensure the global sustainability strategy generated fits the challenges and unique opportunities of Europe and the Mediterranean. She serves as the sustainability point of contact for Iberostar in EMEA.
Alejandro Borras Manager of Iberostar Foundation Alejandro works to develop and implement programs for the Iberostar Foundation. This includes establishing educational programs across the locations that Iberostar operates as well as introducing scholarship programs.
Ana Bartolome Sustainability Engagement Global Director Ana is responsible for engaging employees, guests and other stakeholders with Iberostar's sustainability work.
Rafael Carmona Sustainability Operations Global Director Rafael is responsible for implementing Wave of Change in our operations globally.
Erika Harms Coastal Health Strategy Director Erika will lead a team of scientists in identifying and implementing transformative solutions that will address critical challenges facing our oceans and coasts through conservation, restoration and sustainable management.
Patricia Dueñas Circular Economy Strategy Director Patricia is responsible for developing Iberostar's strategy to work towards a Circular Economy.
Dr. Johanna Calle Science Coordinator Johanna works to develop coral reef restoration projects in Mexico, establishing protocols with biological and ecological measures to compare various reef sites in the Caribbean.
Macarena Blanco Science Coordinator Macarena manages the daily responsibilities of the Coral Lab and in-water coral nursery in the Dominican Republic in addition to planning and developing science goals and projects for Wave of Change focused on reef restoration.
Victor Galvan Coastal Health Regional Coordinator Victor Galvan is the Coastal Health Regional Coordinator for Aruba, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Victor's works towards improving coastal ecosystem health alongside profitable tourism at all Iberostar properties.
Nicholas Komisarjevsky Science Communicator Nicholas focuses on developing, enhancing and implementing strategy for internal and external communications for different audiences such as Wave of Change employees, clients, the scientific community and the general public.
Alicia Alonso Marketing & Communications Manager Alicia manages the Wave of Change marketing & communications strategy for Wave of Change and take Iberostar's sustainability messaging to its audiences from guests to the tourism industry.
